Health and safety

RELAX, YOU'RE IN GOOD HANDS

When it comes to health and safety, we operate above and beyond all accepted requirements. We know that a big part of your event planning will centre around H&S and we aim to take away as much of that headache as possible for you!

All our stages comply with UK & EU regulations and are regularly checked and maintained. We won't hire you a stage if we feel it's unsuitable for your environment or intended use.

All of our Sound & Lighting equipment is regularly tested for electrical safety by a qualified employee and carries a current PAT label.

But remember, as good as our own H&S standards are, they are only part of your overall strategy. If you hire just the stage from us and choose another supplier for your sound/lighting/power, you need to ensure that they comply  and have the appropriate insurance too.

In other words, our H&S policy and documentation covers only the gear and services you hire from JTH, it does not extend to cover involvement from any third parties.

Once you have made a confirmed booking with us, we can make available the following documentation on request:

  • Public Liability Insurance Certificate (PLI)
  • Employers Laibility Insurance Certificate
  • Risk Assessment (normally after a site visit)
  • Method Statement
